Resolutions Rewind!

Okay I made some resolutions in August last year, WHY? I don't know, for some reason that was a better idea to me. Let's have a look at how I did!
1. Give up fizzy drinks and chocolate. - As I read this, I had a lindt in my mouth and diet coke to my right. Fail, utmost fail.
2.Floss more. I like how the more is general, not like "once a day" or "twice a week". Okay, this isn't a total fail. Now I actually floss sometimes, which I never did before this.
3.Write a diary entry every night. Not a failure. I don't do one every night but there hasn't been a major thing which hasn't been diaried in detail, so I haven't missed a thing I think. :D
4.Take more walks/bikes. Fail, I don't even need to explain this.
5. Set a non-ridiculous, achievable, reasonable workout regime. This is a fail, BUT I will be taking it into this year as a new resolution. Soon as mum's back at work the house is going on a diet (the people in it, not the house itself) and we will be doing something active (swimming, belly dancing, workout dvds, dance games, jogging or power walking) two or three days a week.

So that wasn't so bad. Here are the resolutions I made actually this time last year. -->
1. Be more generous. - I don't know if I've achieved this. I'd like to think so. I feel like I've done a bit more giving than the year before. You tell me?
2. Take multivitamins - Absolute success. I always take my multiV's every night and I feel much more settled for it. ONE SUCCESS! woo
3. Don't take people for a ride. - Ah, this was referencing to my wily ways with men, cheating and philandering and whatnot. This has been not a complete success but towards the end of the year, getting much much better.
4. Try harder with my work. - Okay, that's vague. I think I have, I'm on track for the Uni I want, for the grades I need to be exactly where I want to be. That's pretty committed to it I'd say.
5. Take on more challenges. - I'll step down and say I haven't done that this year. I tried belly dancing, dropped it because we got too busy and that was it. Oops.

So, for the new year what have I learned? Well, I know that I'm good at setting vague goals. I think that for the new year I will try to be a faithful, committed, healthy, active, creative and caring person.

My biggest achievement of the year: Bagging my man.
What's changed me most: My new found love of inspirational quotes. :)
My biggest failure of the year: Being lazy.
What will change next year the most?: Hopefully, my mentality.

Enjoy the new year. :D

New Year Goals

It's the end of the decade where everything has happened, but I'm not a look-backer. I'm a forward-springer!
Too much has happened in the last decade. I went from 7 to 17 and frankly that's too much growth to list, and my list would be pretty darn depressing to be honest.

So instead, I am making goals that hopefully I will be able to aim towards and keep to throughout the whole of 2010 and maybe further!

1. Be more generous.
Towards the end of this year I started to do little acts of kindness. Lending books for longer without moaning, helping B.H organise her life, lending an ear to friends who needed it. It felt nice to be a little bit more giving, so I'm making it an official goal!

2. Take multivitamins.
Don't laugh, I swear taking that little beige pill makes my life more enriched, and I don't look as yellow.

3. Don't take people for a ride.
I have a tendancy of leading guys on and then going too far, leading in bad consequences and a horrific record for fidelity. So that's out the window and now I can say hello to a more faithful me. I've even started this. On occasions where I wanted to text someone I have refrained as it could have been misinterpreted as interest. Go me!

4. Try harder with my work.
The step up from GCSE to A-level was large and I haven't been putting in 100% into my work and I hope to give that little push that should get my target grades. I know I've got more to give academically - it's just finding the motivation to do it.

5. Take on more challenges.
I breeze through life thoo much, kindly refusing offers of trips to Africa and after school activities. This will start by taking on Belly Dancing with my mum and sis and hopefully sticking to it!

Creep And Boxing Day

Well last night was HILARIOUS to say the least. Me, Thin One, P.Diddy and Creep were all talking online, me and my secret keepers. And I said I wanted to be Megan Fox but typoed and said Mega Fox, hence this great evolution of everyone into MEGAFOX and abusing people online!

Creep is definately not creepy anymore. He still insists he likes me and will someday win me over although I remind him often that the chances of that happening are practically nonexsistent. He annoys me often by misinterpreting my actions, if I do anything nice to him or say anything vaguely complimentary he takes it as me harbouring a secret desire for him. The only secret desire I have is for a male model named David Oliver.... Oh David...

Anyways!

New years plans have gone a bit haywire since the boyf may be having a family New Years and some of the Krewe have backed out saying that they can't get out of their family New Years plans.

Damnit!

28&29 Dec 08

Dear Belle, I'm very happy and nervous today! Boyf has said that I could join his family celebrations for new years. That means that mum can go out with Step-dad and Sister can go out to her party without having to worry about me! <3

Dear Belle, I'm worried like mad about this new year thing. I don't want to miss all my crazy family traditions and spend it with some strange family! It's going to be insanely weird not having all my crazy family traditions.
I wasn't cordially invited, I had to sort of ask to come and intrude on their plans, now it's turned out that they had invited boyf and his sis to dinner and they're having to change their plans to include me, so now I really feel like I'm intruding. I recently went through my old diaries and letters, organising them into order or catagories and stuff. It's nice to look at old stuff, remember who you are.

It's weird how boyf and ex-boyf letters have the same feeling of desperate devotion. Hmm. Maybe I have that effect on guys.
